The Reactor Chamber system simulates the transfer of thermal and radiation energy from the reaction to the reactor's inner surface, in particular the Reaction Isolation Shield (RIS) and the Primary Coolant Loop.
Inputs
Plasma Temperature (PLASDEN) is a major input from the Plasma Simulation.
The Poloidal Field Generator simulation is a component of the fusion reactor simulation. It simulates the magnetic fields designed to maniuplat ethe shape of the main containment field to improve reaction efficiency. There are four polidal generators.
The polidal simulation has three functions, details below.
The Toroidal Field Generator simulation is a component of the Fusion Reactor simulation. It simulates the main magentic containment field generators of the fusion reactor, of which there are eight.
The Toroidal Field Generator simulation has five functions, detailed below.
The main engine simulator is designed to represent key engine operating principles, producing output factors such as thrust, plasma exhaust and magnetic field emissions as accurately as possible.
Power is distributed between power generation systems and major vessel systems by the power distribution network (PDN). The PDN is made up of distribution nodes connected by conduits. The power distribution simulator manages the routing and allocation of power by defining connections between nodes. The PDN is designed to enable power to be routed around damage and to cope with extraordinary contingenices while ensuring stability of power supply across vessel systems.
The simulation engine is designed to represent the complex operations of various vessel systems. It combines user input from control consoles and stored system variables (which represent the behaviour of stuff) and pases them through a series of algorithms which represents the operation of ship systems.
