The engineering branch has one of the widest range of specialisations, reflecting the number of systems aboard the vessel - engineers are responsible for maintaining the systems used by other branches.

Core systems is an advanced specialisation responsible for the vessel's computing, data distribution infrastructure and communications systems. Sub-specialisations include:

Sensor Systems

Involves the maintenance and repair of the vessel's sensor systems.

Engineer

Engineer is the base engineering specialisation involving the maintenance and repair of all ship systems including the power distribution network. There are a number of sub-specialisations:

Power Distribution 

Involves the maintenace and repair of the vessel's power distribution networks.

Spaceframe

Involves management and repair of vessel superstructure, specialist mounting components for vessel systems, passive defence systems and environmental systems including artificial gravity, inertial dampening system, atmospheric and recycling systems.

Generation

Generation is an advanced specialisation working with the vessel's fusion reactor and auxiliary power generation systems. Sub-specilaisations include:

Reactor Systems 

Involves the operation, maintenance and repair ofthe vessel's reactor systems.

Generator Systems 

Involves the operation, maintenance and repair of the vessel's auxiliary generation systems.

Superluminal Systems 

Involves the operation, maintenance and repair of faster-than light (superluminal) propulsion systems.

Magnetoplasma Rocket Systems
