Bridge

Deck one contains the vessel's command centre - the bridge. This is supported by a conference room for senior staff briefings and a ready room (office) for the commanding officer.

Shuttle Dock

The aft sections of the deck house the shuttle dock. Two shuttles are docked using a standardised docking system, which means the shuttles can be entered, exited directly to and from the ship and launched and docked without depressurisation. The shuttle dock is completely separate from the rest of the deck for safety and security purposes

The shuttle dock includes a decontamination facility to isolate crew and visitors for testing and elimination of microbial and other contaminants. The facility is also directly accessible from the flight deck to process arrivals.
