We're getting a first look at what Endeavour's control consoles will look like with the release of design notes for a "monitoring visualisation" (or widget) called the Radial Monitor. It's just one of a series that are in development, but gives an indication of the design direction. You can take a look at this blog entry.
The ISDC website includes a number of tools to help members collaborate and communicate and a guide has been released to familiarise new members with what’s available. The guide currently covers communication and collaboration tools and how users can personalise their profiles.
A link to the guide will be included in sign-up conformation emails, and will be displayed on new member’s personalised home pages until they receive their first post.
We recently experienced an issue with the website that saw default fonts displayed for the majority of text on the website, instead of the designated font. This had a minor impact on the layout of all ISDC websites including a degradation in the visual design.
This has been resolved and the designated font should now be displayed. We have also resolved the issue the prevented detection of the problem.
You may have noticed some new sections on the front page of the crew site. These are collaboration notification features which let you know when there’s new activity in one of your discussions. You can find out more about the new features here.
Four new crew profiles have been added to the ISDC careers site. Crew profiles are a great way to get to know what other people are doing across the organisation and how they came to join the iSDC.

We'd like to encourage all members to add a user pic or gravatar to their accounts. These are used quite extensively throughout the site to help identify contributors and foster a sense of professional community.
