The simulator has just been updated to allow Endeavour to travel between star systems. This significantly widens the scope for exploration and means a much greater range of mission scenarios can be supported.

The drive that powers faster than light travel is one of the key technologies recovered from extra terrestrial vessels.

As well as providing a new flight mode for navigation, the sim update includes capability  to model star systems and the planets within them.
