Reference material for navigation has been posted in LIAIS, which has been written to support training and operations. The current material covers impulse (sublight) navigation, which is the mode where most combat will happen (for example).

It's not exactly Navigation for Dummies but I hope it gives some idea of what's involved in moving a starship around in deep space. I helped out with the writing and I'm looking forward to getting involved when they start to make the supporting videos.
